วันที่ 7 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 ดร.ทวีลาภ ฤทธาภิรมย์ กรรมการและผู้จัดการ ธนาคารอิสลามแห่งประเทศไทย (ไอแบงก์) ได้รับคำเชิญให้เข้าพบ H.E. Mr. Seyed Reza Nobakhti เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐอิสลามอิหร่านประจำประเทศไทย เพื่อหารือถึงความเป็นไปได้ในการจัดทำความร่วมมือทางการค้าและการลงทุน ซึ่งอิหร่านเป็นประเทศที่มีปริมาณธุรกรรมทางการเงินตามหลักศาสนาอิสลามมากเป็นอันดับต้นของโลก พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองสถานการณ์การเชื่อมโยงทางการค้าและการลงทุนของประเทศอิหร่านกับนานาประเทศในปัจจุบัน
กรรมการและผู้จัดการ ไอแบงก์ กล่าวขอบคุณเอกอัครราชทูต ที่เล็งเห็นความสำคัญของธนาคารอิสลามแห่งประเทศไทย โดยธนาคารจะศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ที่จะร่วมมือด้านการค้าและการลงทุน และผลักดันความร่วมมือในมิติต่าง ๆ ระหว่างกัน อันจะส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ของทั้งสองประเทศต่อไป และในโอกาสนี้ กรรมการและผู้จัดการ ได้แสดงความยินดีกับเอกอัครราชทูต ล่วงหน้าในโอกาสวันชาติที่จะมาถึงในวันที่ 11 กุมภาพันธ์ อีกด้วย
ibank received an invitation from the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand to discuss opportunities to build trade and investment relationships between each other
This morning (February 7, 2024) Dr. Thaweelap Rittapirom, Director and President The Islamic Bank of Thailand (ibank) received an invitation to meet with H.E. Mr. Seyed Reza Nobakhti, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand to discuss the possibility of establishing trade and investment cooperation as Iran is one of the world’s largest Islamic banking assets. H.E.Mr. Nobakhti also exchanged his views on the current situation of Iran’s trade and investment connections with other countries.
Directors and President of ibank thanked the Ambassador for giving importance to the Islamic Bank of Thailand. The bank will study the possibility of cooperation in trade and investment and push for cooperation in various ways between each other, which will further promote relations between the two countries. On this occasion, Director and President congratulated the Ambassador in advance on the occasion of National Day coming on February 11 as well.
